Zain concludes strategic partnership of seventh Ideal Mother Award

Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, concluded its strategic partnership of the seventh edition of the Ideal Mother Award during the event’s conclusion ceremony organized by Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel.

 

The awarding ceremony witnessed the attendance of Chairman of Sanad Kuwaiti Foundation for Disabled Children Sabeeka Al Jaser, Honorary President of Kuwait Disabled Sports Club Shaikha Shaikha Abdullah Al Sabah, Award Director and President of Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center Aisha Al Salem, Head of the Award’s Organizing Committee Fawaz Al Qabban, Zain Kuwait’s External and Internal Relations Department Manager Hamad Al Matar, as well as the honored mothers and their families.

 

The event’s conclusion ceremony witnessed the honoring of 19 mothers from Kuwait, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and a number of nations from the Arab world. The award mainly aimed at shedding light and recognizing the distinguished and dedicated individual efforts of the mothers for caring and developing their children with mental disabilities. As part of the honoring program, the mothers also took part in a special trip to a number of cultural and traditional sites in Kuwait.

 

Zain’s strategic partnership of this annual event comes in line with its support of the various social causes that are of interest to all segments of the society, especially within the special needs sector. The company is keen on reinforcing its partnerships with the many public and private entities that cater to people with special needs and their families within the local community all year round.

The company recently participated in a special event organized by the Public Authority of the Disabled on the occasion of the International and Arab Day of People with Special Needs. During the event, Zain organized a number of recreational activities to share the joys of this day with people with special needs and their families. The company also sponsored the annual charity marathon organized by Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN) and aimed at supporting children with special needs in Kuwait. Zain also regularly conducts visits to social care centers during multiple seasons all-year round.
