Company keen on enriching the culture of giving and social contribution

Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced its support to the “Sahabat Amal” volunteer team, which consists of medical students from Kuwait and other countries. The company supports the team during their latest trip to Kerala, India with the aim of providing medical and educational aid to people in need.

 

Zain’s support to this humanitarian campaign comes under its comprehensive Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibly Strategy that closely focuses on supporting humanitarian initiatives in Kuwait and around the world. “Sahabat Amal” volunteers recently visited Kerala, India with the aim of providing medical and educational aid to people in need, orphans, and students. The trip included visiting medical centers and orphanages in the area to raise health awareness, offer prophylactic vaccinations, train medical staff on offering first aid, as well as conduct essential check-ups and distribute medicine. The team also offers schoolbags and gifts to students in an effort to improve their life conditions as much as possible.
