Zain launches new smart home security kits

Featuring security cameras and more starting at KD 6.5 monthly

Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced the launch of two new smart home security kits as part of its Zain Life smart home portfolio. The new kits feature a number of innovative solutions and security devices from smart home leaders FIBARO and EZVIZ.

 

Zain launched the new kits under its Zain Life portfolio and in line with its strategy to transform into an integrated digital lifestyle provider, which is centered around digital transformation leadership and empowering the community to enjoy a smarter portable lifestyle, as well as using advanced technology solutions to enable an easier and more flexible life.

 

The new kits feature a number of innovative security devices from smart home leaders FIBARO and EZVIZ, which were designed to provide a unique home security experience through several surveillance solutions that monitor the home and notify the user as soon as any unusual activity inside the home is identified, as well as other devices for detecting smoke, measuring temperature, controlling electrical appliances and lights, and more.

 

The first kit (Beginners Camera Kit by EZVIZ) includes 4 devices: two basic cameras and two advanced  cameras for KD 6.5 monthly (with 24-month commitment) for Zain’s postpaid customers. The kit can also be purchased with a one-time payment without commitment for KD 165. The kit is easy to install, and features a privacy shutter, high resolution recording during day or night, and mobile alerts when movement is detected.

 

The second kit (Advanced Camera and Sensors Kit by FIBARO and EZVIZ) includes 8 devices: advanced camera, basic camera, motion/temperature sensor, door/window sensor, smart wall plug, double relay switch, home hub, and smart smoke detector for KD 14 monthly (with 24-month commitment) for Zain’s postpaid customers. The kit can also be purchased with a one-time payment without commitment for KD 336.

 

The Smart Homes sector is one of the main elements of the digital transformation journey undertaken by telecoms around the world, particularly with respect to securing homes and protecting them against theft with the use of modern technology. Zain is working on designing new plans to match these transformation processes to be included in Zain Life in addition to its existing portfolio of smart solutions.
