Zain Platinum Sponsor of 6th E-Government Forum

Under patronage of H.H. Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah

Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, announced its platinum sponsorship of the sixth E-Government Forum (EGOV6) for the second consecutive year organized by NoufEXPO and the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) under the theme 'Managing Change towards Digitization’. The event, held at Crowne Plaza Hotel from 4 – 6 December, came under the patronage of H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah.

 

The forum’s inauguration ceremony witnessed the attendance of several prominent figures, led by H.H. the Prime Minister’s representative H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al Saleh, General Manager of NoufEXPO Yousef Al Marzouq, Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Qussai Al Shatti, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Kuwait Eaman Al Roudhan, as well as a number of experts, professionals, and leaders from both the public and private sectors.

 

Zain’s platinum sponsorship of the forum for the second consecutive year highlights the company’s keenness on being an active participant in shouldering the various local and regional initiatives that contribute to advancing the community and the further progress of national economy. Being a leading national player in the Kuwaiti private sector, Zain believes in the importance of the active collaboration between the public and private sectors to enrich Kuwait’s future. 

 

During the event, Zain Kuwait’s Chief Executive Officer Eaman Al Roudhan took part in awarding the Public Authority for Industry with the Distinguished E-Service Award. The award, organized for the third consecutive year, is given to the governmental entity with the most distinguished electronic service offered on the State of Kuwait’s official E-Gate website e.gov.com.kw as per strict standards set by the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT). Al Roudhan also took part in awarding the forum’s sponsors and contributors.

  

The 6th E-Government Forum (EGOV6), entitled 'Managing Change towards Digitization’, witnessed many specialized workshops and panel discussions that focused on how change management affects the development of e-government programs, the challenges these programs face, and how to execute them in an efficient manner. The forum also discussed the challenges related to the scarcity of qualified human resources to manage and develop such programs, and more. the forum was held with the presence of the GCC E-Government Executive Committee.
