Zain Platinum Sponsor of 7th eGovernment Forum

Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, announced its platinum sponsorship of the seventh eGovernment Forum (EGOV7) for the third consecutive year, organized by NoufEXPO and the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) entitled 'Smart Government Trends’. The event, held at Crowne Plaza Hotel from 12 – 14 November, comes under the patronage of H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah.

The forum’s inauguration ceremony witnessed the attendance of several prominent figures, led by the representative of H.E. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and Chairman of the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Anas Al Saleh; Chairman and CEO of Kuwait’s Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) Salim Al Othaina, General Manager of NoufEXPO Yousef Al Marzouq, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Kuwait Eaman Al Roudhan, Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Haya Al Wadaani, Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Communications and Relations Officer Waleed Al Khashti, as well as a number of experts, professionals, and leaders from both the public and private sectors.

Zain’s platinum sponsorship of the forum for the third consecutive year highlights the company’s keenness on being an active participant in shouldering the various local and regional initiatives that contribute to advancing the community and the further progress of national economy. Being a leading national player in the Kuwaiti private sector, Zain believes in the importance of the active collaboration between the public and private sectors to enrich Kuwait’s future. 

This year’s forum features two specialized workshops, the first entitled; “Introduction and Practical Use Cases for Artificial Intelligence”, which is presented by Microsoft and offers insights about Artificial Intelligence for government officials responsible for planning and developing smart government services. The second workshop, entitled; “Strategies Follow-Up and Performance Management”, is targeted at entities and organizations from both the public and private sectors.

The 7th eGovernment Forum (EGOV7), entitled 'Smart Government Trends’, comes to reflect the government’s official keenness in the role played by e-government programs in transforming Kuwait’s government services into international standards. This year’s forum features many seminars discussing e-government areas, including artificial intelligence, smart cities, internet of things, digital transformation strategies, and more.
