Zain sponsors NUKS annual Omrah trip

Company committed to support and encourage student activities

Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, announced its Gold sponsorship of the annual Omrah trip organized by the National Union of Kuwait Students (NUKS) – Kuwait University branch. The trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held from 9 – 12 January, features nearly 150 students and their families.

           

Zain’s support to the NUKS annual Omrah trip comes in line with its commitment towards supporting and encouraging various student activities, which falls under the company’s Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy. Zain’s strategy closely focuses on contributing to the development of the education sector by partnering with many organizations, including student bodies, to invest in education, which the company considers an essential element of the further progress of national economy. 

 

The Omrah trip, organized annually by the National Union of Kuwait Students (NUKS) – Kuwait University branch, featured this year nearly 150 students, their families, and religious figures that contributed to enriching the trip’s program. The annual Omrah trip is considered one of the most prominent student activities organized by NUKS for Kuwait University’s students with the aim of enriching their spiritual aspect.

 

Zain’s support to NUKS springs from the company’s core Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy.
