Storytel is available in 25+ countries, including both local and international story treasures in different languages. A subscription gives you access to our ever-growing library of audiobooks, e-books, and other stories.

Customers on selected postpaid plans (Wiyana postpaid and Basic internet) can enjoy a 2-month subscription to Storytel at no additional cost. After this period, you may continue at the then-applicable monthly fee (currently KWD 1.6/month).

Prepaid customers receive a 1-month subscription to Storytel at no additional cost, then can continue at the standard monthly fee (currently KWD 1.6/month).

Zain customers not on selected plans can subscribe through Zain at the standard monthly fee.

All fees and pricing are subject to change.

1. Open the Zain App and scroll down to the “Streaming” section.
2. Tap “Storytel” and follow the steps to subscribe.
3. After confirmation, you’ll receive an SMS with a link to register your Storytel account (email and password).
4. Download and open the Storytel app.
5. Log in using the email and password you registered with.
6. Tap “Explore the app”, choose any title, and start listening or reading.

All listening or reading is done through the Storytel app, not our website. If you have issues downloading, your device may not be compatible with our service.

You can listen and read abroad, but not all content is available in every region or country.

Download titles offline in advance (ensure 100% complete), then switch your device to flight mode to test playback. Be sure to turn off roaming to avoid extra charges.

The number of downloads depends on your device’s free storage. There is a limit of 100 downloaded titles per subscription.

E-books are saved by default when you open them and all pages initialize. If you remove a book from your bookshelf, its downloaded file is removed too, and you’ll need internet access to open it again.

In the app, go to Settings → App Settings → Languages to see which languages are included in your subscription.
